Wednesday afternoon/night

A random Wednesday that we spent. I don't think we need any captions.

Nowadays...Aris is into taking tons of pictures. So I can be in the pictures now!

Belle is super interested in the alphabet. It is pretty funny. I think her favorite letter is O. Maybe because it looks like a ball.

And tomorrow (for the weekend)..we are finally spending time in NJ.

Hopefully we tackle more things off the summer list. It's almost August!

And now I will tackle our laundry. BOO!

K+J's wedding

Kathleen & Josh got married last Sunday, July 18!!

After being together for 11 years, they finalllyy tied the knot :)

Their wedding...I still can't get over it!! It was carnival themed, unique, & what we jokingly always describe it as..."abnormal."

I really wish I could have taken more pictures, but I was having too much fun to capture every single moment!

Here are just a few of my favorites from my camera...

I loved this photo booth. It's served as "wedding favors" that EVERYONE enjoyed. I was in here maybe...4 times?! (And I know I'm not the only one who was in there more than once!)

Binh & I were lucky to be able to make stuff for this wedding too!

Kathleen thought of the idea of having pinwheels instead of bouquets for the girls.

So we learned how to make them & I'm so happy they fit right in!!

A couple of weeks ago, Ami (Kathleen's cousin), her husband, & Stef thought of surprising the couple with a dance to Lady Gaga's Bad Romance!

When I got a call from Stef, asking me to participate...I was just laughing. But how can I not refuse?!?!

I don't know what was harder...keeping this whole dance a secret from the couple. OR learning this dance with not a lot of time. But really big props to Ami, Jhunji, & Stef for quickly putting it all together!!

Ra ra ra a a a!

Am I recognizable even with a mask on?! Ha ha ha ha.

You should've seen us sneak away from the reception to all get dressed in a small room & quickly practice in there too. Lace, masks, spandex, boas, wigs flying everywhere.....It was Gaga chaos in there!

Then just as we were going down the stairs ..."Bad Romance" came on & we all literally ran to the dance floor & did our thing.

Kathleen & Josh's faces were so priceless :)

SO HOT!

NY is going through a heat wave this week. The other day it reached 102 degrees..& we don't have AC in the living room/dining room. That's where I sew..& I haven't been able to touch my sewing machine.

I thought I would get more sewing done during the summer. I don't know why I thought that....It's been so hot, it's hard to concentrate! And when I sew, I need the iron..& the iron makes everything hotter. Oh well. Don't worry sewing machine, I still love ya.

But despite the heat & lack of sewing...there has been some fun going on though. We had a fun 4th of July when my cousin visited with her son, Gavin. They ended up staying for a couple of days...& it even felt like a vacation for me.

You know...like worrying about nothing, letting the kids play in the backyard, going wild at the sprinklers while we chat about life with margaritas. Sounds relaxing. And it really was!

I thought to myself a couple of times, "I wish everyday was like this!"

I posted all the pics on my facebook. But here are my faves....

We didn't make them clean. They grabbed the broom & bucket themselves. I didn't mind that at all.

Can you tell that Gavin & Belle are inseparable?? They are.

Gavin always looks after Belle..& Belle copies whatever Gavin's doing.

& Belle got so TAN! I can't believe how dark she is. Look at that picture with the bucket over her head. SO TAN! I like her light skin better though.

PS....Speaking of tan. I'm not into that tanning nonsense. I don't get why people get so excited about looking orange? Is it just me??

& so much more to look forward to this summer!!
