Spring

The weather has been so silly lately. It's been up & down, playing mind games with us.

It's so nice, reaching 70 degrees!

Then it's gloomy & rains for the next few days, back to 50's.

The weather is so unpredictable, that when it is nice out, we get out & take advantage.
Yep, her hat says, I heart Jesus. (& she looks like a boy here! hehehe)

On another nice day, Binh's dog, Mia came over. Belle's favorite!

I hope the sun is here to stay for a looong time. So we have more days like these.

Craft market

I know, I've been MIA. I haven't blogged as much as I would like to & I haven't updated my etsy.

BUT I have a good excuse. All my attention & time has all gone to THIS...

The Brooklyn Lyceum Spring Food & Craft Market!

Kariselle will be a vendor for this even on the weekend of May 1 & 2!!

Starting at 11am-7pm.

Seriously, I was just planning on going to shop & attend when Kathleen announced it on her Facebook. Then she mentioned me being a vendor.

HUH? What? Me? A vendor? I never did that before...

I laughed & shared with Aris about Kathleen's idea. I expected him to laugh with me..but he said..DO IT!

umm. ok? Fine, I'll try!

So there you go ladies (& gents!)...Please come!

Lunch & playdates

Last week, Binh ditched school for a day & I took a break from sewing.

We had lunch at a Thai restaurant. We've been craving pad thai for some time now.
I'm reaaallllyyyy hungry.

Vegetable & tofu pad thai, egg roll, & thai iced tea.

Obsessed with the thai iced tea! Mmmmm

After lunch, we went to Binh's, & played with Binh's dog, Mia.

This part kind of scared me...

Belle wanted to play with Mia's toy, so she opened her mouth to get the toy!!

I didn't even realize what she was doing until after I took the picture.

I almost freaked out. Thanks goodness, Mia is nice.

These 2 spent the next few hours not giving each other space. Always at each other's tail, side by side.

What is up with my hair???

I think I'm pretty much convinced that I want a dog when Belle, Aris & I get our own place!!

Thirteen

We didn't go out because it was a school day, my dad was working, & she had a basketball game.

My mom cooked, I got balloons, Binh baked, & Belle went crazy with the balloons...

Unlike Binh's birthday, we lit the candles just in time for her when she came home from her basketball game!

Half the cake was blue too.

Karen loves Cookie Monster...so I assumed blue was her favorite color. So that's why we had a lot of blue going on. When she came home, I asked her what her favorite color is...& she said red. HA!

Belle enjoyed the balloons more now, instead of her own balloons at her 1st birthday party!

Today my sister is officially a TEEN!

I remember babysitting her when she was just as little as Belle. WEIRD.

And now..it's her that takes care of Belle..The first time she held Belle.

Belle loves loves Tita Karen. She claps & cheers when Karen comes home from school.

Thanks Karen, for always helping me out with Belle all the time.

& thank you for all that you do for her :D

Aris says he wants Belle to grow up like Tita Karen, cause she's smart, super athletic, & she randomly bakes for her friends at school. He wants Belle to do the same!

Karen is a kick ass tennis player too!

Everyone has high hopes for her to make it big. Even me.

Karen, you should become famous as a professional tennis player.

So Aris, Belle, & I can live/maintain your mansion while you travel. OKAY!?
