Walk on by

Belle gives me the excuse to go out and just take a walk on an (almost) daily basis.  Can't complain. It's relaxing, exercise, & i love my neighborhood.  So what the heck...

On these days, Binh & Klarissa came along.  Cause they love us.

I forgot to bring a toy.  So Binh just took something out of 

her bag that Belle can play with.  She is so easily entertained...I love it!

We thought this was funny just having Belle's foot hanging out like that

Binh was carrying Belle in this position for awhile.  She was loving it then all of a sudden fell asleep.

There was a bunch of pretty flowers on many lawns.  I wanted to take more, but felt weird going to random people's lawns.  

Someone woke up in a good mood!

I'm seriously jealous of those long eyelashes. (sigh)

My face says it all:  This child is so heavy I need a break.  Thank heavens for a fence she could stand on!  

We hardly ever get many pictures of the 3 of us.  Cause it's either Aris & I taking the pics.  But Aris found a tripod hiding in the basement.  And we took advantage!  (This photo would have been almost perfect if Aris didn't have to make such a weird face! Typical Aris!)

Forgot my camera was on continuous timer.  It caught us at the perfect time.

Aris was holding Belle here.  We laughed so hard when we saw how this pic came out.  It's just icing on the cake!

I got Belle a cute little inflatable pool so she could play in it for hot summer days.  But, I need a pump to blow the pool up!  Lucky me, Klarissa planned on coming over so we can blow up the pool and play...but instead, she decided to outdo the plan.  She invited Belle & I to go swimming with Rachel (Belle's bff) at Tita Tina's pool!  I couldn't refuse...so of we went...

This was actually Belle's first time in a pool. Swimming around with Klarissa & Katrina.  

Rachel decided to ditch us and stay dry! 

She did help dry off though :)

Thanks again Klariss!  We must do this again!

Teething Pain

Belle's first teeth is coming out!  

It was cute & exciting when Aris & I noticed her teeth coming out.  We already heard many teething nightmares, but we still didn't know what to expect.  But the other night, Belle's temperature went up and she had a hard time sleeping.  She woke up at around 3 a.m. crying, tossing around with her eyes still closed.  We gave her tylenol & a few minutes later, she was knocked out!  Belle's feeling better today...back to her normal smiley self!  I don't know how long this teething thing will last.  Here's hoping that there are more days like today during this teeth extravaganza!

Happy 4th of July to all!

Whenever you eat next to Belle, it's only fair you give her a piece too.  She gets jealous and angry if you don't!  

Someday I think Belle will be a gymnast!  She always does this and stays in this position for awhile.  I hope her blood stream doesn't go crazy.

Or sometimes I think she'll be a rock climber.  She will climb whatever whenever.  Belle has no fear...but I do.  Watching her climb is forever nerve racking!

By the way, she's teething like crazy.  So Belle will chew on whatever she can get her hands on...& her playpen is no exception.

Best thing in the world: Baby Belle!  

She's the cutest.  She's already 8 months and has come a long way.  Crazy how fast babies grow!  But I wish I started this blog earlier...like the day she was born.  So that I could've jotted down all her precious milestones..like what every professional mom does!  I haven't done any of that...I don't know the exact time Belle first smiled; learned to roll over; learned to crawl; etc.  But better late than never.  I can start now right?  

Prior to being 8 months old, Belle has already learned to crawl, sit unsupported, hold her own bottle, stand herself up (supported), & climb whatever is in her way.

So what's new this month?

• Trying to stand unsupported.  Still a work in progress!

• First ever tooth is coming!!  It's the front bottom tooth. 

• Thanks to my dad, she learned how to do "beautiful eyes" (basically like batting her eyelashes).  And usually will only do it for my dad! 

• Even went to the beach for the first time!  Although she didn't go in the water, it was still amusing just seeing Belle touching the sand.
